Coachford College, also known as Coachford Community College,〔 (GAIRM OIDEACHAIS CHONTAE CHORCAÍ SUB-COMMITTEES OF COUNTY CORK VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COMMITTEE BOARDS OF MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOLS/COLLEGES YOUTHREACH CENTRES OUTSIDE CENTRES )〕 is a secondary school located in Coachford, County Cork, Ireland. Situated in the Lee Valley, 18 miles west of Cork City, the catchment area stretches from Kanturk to Bandon, and from Ballincollig to Macroom. The college principal is Patrick O'Connor; his deputy is Edward Williamson. There are 560 students in the college and nearly 50 teachers. The school website contains all the information on the school including transition year, LCVP and all the subjects. Academic teams include AIB School Bank Team, Pi Quiz Team, Junior Maths Team and the Pfizer Chemistry, Junior Science, Maths and Applied Maths quiz teams, among others. Current management policy on team sports states that male students have the option of playing hurling or football, while female students can play camogie or basketball.
